Procedure for the assessment of LASER Systems

The LASER is used for creating plays of light during shows.

LASERS for LASER shows shall be used by qualified personnel, trained on risks and procedures for safe LASER use.

For the installation, striclty follow the instructions on the Owner's manual provided by the manufacturer. If this instructions are absent, they shall be requested and the manufacturer must provide them, in compliance to the product standards.

The standard IEC/TR 60825-3 "Safety of laser products - Part 3: Guidance for laser displays and shows", prescribes specific safety requirements for LASER products in class 3B used in LASER shows and for the information that the manufacturer must provide on the Owner's manual.

The device shall be used by professional personnel, trained on risks, by strictly following the safety instructions (which the manufacturer is obliged to provide) reported on the Owner's manual.
