Procedure for the assessment of LASER Systems

The LASER system falls into class 1, but it incorporates an embedded higher class LASER. People who do not have to access the LASER controlled area where the higher class LASER is located shall follow the safe use procedures listed in the Owner's manual and in this procedure. 

Please note that a class 1 LASER is safe in all reasonably foreseeable operating conditions and thus, as long as all guards are undamaged and the operators stay outside from the LASER controlled area, the risk is irrelevant.

All maintenance shall be performed by qualified personnel.
